The first 27 holes of the layout opened for play in November 1998, and provides three distinct par-72, 18 hole combinations playing approximately 7,200 yards each. The Tiburón course is one that demands accuracy and features deep bunkers with stacked sod walls and tight fairways with no rough to protect errant shots. The turf, a hybrid bermudagrass, is proven to offer optimum playing conditions and faster divot recovery.
Golf Academy:
Located within the Golf Club, The Rick Smith Golf Academy at Tiburón has an innovative design, state-of-the-art appointments and the tools to improve a player's performance on the course. The Golf Academy features a teaching area, practice tee, driving range, putting green, chipping green and two practce bunkers. Rick Smith brings a level of intensity that influences and inspires players of all skill levels, from PGA Tour champions to those just learning the game.

The Tiburón Clubhouse encompasses 30,000 square feet and feature an elegant Mediterranean-influenced architectural style.
